7 Product warranty conditions

Scope of warranty

A.COVERED WITH FREE REPAIR WARRANTY

The product warranty is from the date of purchase (receipt) or the warranty period specified on the serial number above. Toshiba or an authorized service center agrees to repair the product from Toshiba if there is a defect in material and/or manufacturing. Toshiba reserves the right to keep any parts or components that are replaced during the warranty period.

 

EXCLUSIONS:

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Defects or damages caused by accident, fire, flood, lightning or other natural disasters or supernatural disasters
  2. Defects or damages caused during transportation, delivery or handling or installation
  3. Defects or damages caused by negligence, misuse or failure to study the instructions in the user manual and installation
  4. Defects or damages caused by corrosion, battery leakage, improper voltage supply to the device or disturbance by insects and animals
  5. Abnormalities caused by using the TV or TV stand in an environment that is affected by temperature, heat, dust or liquid, chemicals
  6. Defects or damages resulting from alterations, modifications or repairs by any person other than a Toshiba authorized service center in a manner that affects the product, its performance or reliability.
  7. Accessories attached to the TV that are used with the Toshiba product, such as remote controls, batteries, adapters, antennas (if the picture/sound is distorted, caused by the antenna or cable TV installation drum), are not guaranteed.
  8. External components, such as levers, plugs, sockets, control buttons, paint, labels or attached signal cables, are not guaranteed.
  9. Defects or damage caused by cracking or moisture, such as LCD screens.
  10. Defects or damages resulting from maintenance, cleaning or routine inspections.
  11. Not responsible for the method of demonstrating the installation of the purchased product
  12. No warranty if the serial number on the product has been removed, altered or made illegible
  13. No warranty in case the warranty card is torn or shows forged evidence
  14. Defects or damages caused by modifying the software or modifying any program that affects the performance of the product
  15. Product errors resulting from the use of third-party software or programs, whether it is modifying, changing, modifying or modifying existing copyrighted software that is the product’s operating system, and errors resulting from the function or operation of the media or content provider (Third-party media service) that enters the product

 

B.Product Replacement Coverage

Customers can replace the product within 7 days in case of any abnormality, starting from the date of purchase, after Toshiba’s thorough inspection and evaluation.

Product replacements beyond the 7 day warranty period will be made only after a reasonable number of attempts to fix the product have been made, but the machine is still affected by the original defect. Toshiba’s decision to replace the product or any questions related to manufacturing or material defects will be final and the purchaser must be bound by such decision, and any replaced product or parts will become the property of Toshiba.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

  1. This warranty is valid only within the territory of the Kingdom of Thailand. The TOSHIBA product concerned must have been originally purchased and the person seeking the warranty service must reside in the Thailand
  2. Toshiba shall have no liability whatsoever for incidental or consequential damages. The responsibility of Toshiba under this warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of defective TOSHIBA products by Toshiba or its authorized service center.
  3. This equipment is intended for consumers private domestic use only and is not designed for continuous or commercial use or in the course of business or profession.
  4. All warranty information, product features and specifications are subject to change without prior notice.
  5. This warranty certificate will not be reissued if lost.
  6. Home Service is opened to all Toshiba TVs.

Important Notes:

  1. When requesting service during the product warranty period, you must present the product warranty card and your proof of purchase (receipt/original sales invoice). If the above requirements cannot be met, the product warranty date shall be the primary date of manufacture.
  2. The transportation, delivery and costs incurred in transporting the product to and from Toshiba or the authorized service center shall be the responsibility of the user in cases outside the warranty conditions.
  3. Toshiba reserves the right to charge a service fee for products outside the warranty period, services not covered by any warranty and shall not be liable if the conditions are not met.
